Do you also have this huge problem where you love to eat and you can’t stop eating? Well, I have. I mean, food is amazing, right? There are no limits about what we can create with food and I’m always so happy when I discover some new (hot)spots, cafe’s and restaurants.
My new discovery is called Peas, a shop in Hasselt, Belgium, that makes vegan desserts. The owners are both vegetarian and because if this, they have a positive impact on the environment and there is less animal suffering, which I only can support.
In their shop, you can buy a lot of different cinnamon rolls with various flavours. Unfortunately for my diet, this is one of my favourite desserts.
You can choose the classic cinnamon roll, but you also have flavours like raspberry quinoa, peanut butter jelly, apple cinnamon and lots of others.
Other than that, they have bites, which are little square desserts with flavours like brownie fudge, peanut pecan, lemon, bounty and I can go on. But it doesn’t stop there.
They also have amazing cupcakes and cinnamon roll pies. I mean, it is already so hard to choose. Since it was my first time there, I obviously wanted to try everyting, but I started with a few cinnamon rolls. I can tell you, they are to die for! I’m kinda sad that Hasselt isn’t really close by, because I am dying to try everything out.
If you are ever to visit Hasselt, you have to stop at Peas. You won’t regret it!
